Nokia Lumia 625 presented

On a today's press conference, Nokia has presented their newest smartphone - Nokia Lumia 625. It was said that Nokia was preparing "something bigger", but up to day it wasn't sure whether a new device was going to be a smartphone, a tablet, or a phablet. Now everything is official. This new device is in fact a smartphone, and it is among budget line of products.

Among the top unique characteristics, it features a large, 4,7'' screen, although nothing really impressive - the resolution is 800x480px, which gives 201PPI density. Nonetheless, the IPS screen is using Gorilla Glass 2, and can be used even with the gloves. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960, dual core 1.2GHz CPU is used, and the amount of RAM is 512MB. Built-in memory is not impressive either with 8GB, but it can be easily extened by up to additional 64GB with a micro-SD card. The main camera used in this device is a 5Mpx one. Connectivity is good, as Lumia 625 has LTE support, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0.

This device uses a battery of 2000mAh, allowing for almost one day of 2G-talk time, and 15 hours for 3G-talk time. The physiscal dimensions are 133,25 / 72,25 / 9,15 mm. Lumia 625 is going to be produced in five different colours. The estimated price is said to be around 200 EUR.
